In the event the Worldwide Developer’s Conference (WWDC) San Francisco, Steve Jobs introduced the ‘iCloud‘, service that will store and access content (music, photos, documents, etc.) in the Internet cloud and is connected wirelessly through any Apple device instantly.
iCloud expanding cloud computing trend, which refers to the notion that computer users can store more information on them in the clouds or the Internet rather than on their drive as storage media.
ICloud Service will continue to synchronize all contacts, calendar, letters, photos, and music with some devices. App Store will display all the purchases you’ve made on one device. You can easily download applications to devices that do not have it with browsing history. new purchase of iBooks and iTunes will automatically be downloaded to any device that is synchronized with the same Apple account.
There is also iCloud Backup automatically saves the backup data to iCloud. If users change an IOS device then iCloud will restore the data to the new device.
Other services are iCloud Storage for documents, iCloud Photo Photo Stream, and iTunes on the Cloud, the music is not purchased from Apple’s iTunes store, users have to pay Apple for USD24.99 per year and also can store up to 25 thousand songs.
Unfortunately, iCloud also has several limitations. iCloud store images only 30 days, and storage of mobile devices 1000 store the latest photos. Users can only store 5 gigabytes of documents.
iCloud already available on IOS 4.3, but to enjoy the other features will be available in the fall along with the IOS 5.
